Just a few pics from the other day to let you see that Byron and Boris are getting along fine together.

Hope you like them
for looking
Saw this on a Dane forum I frequent. Alot of it really is laugh out loud funny, especially if you are a Dane or large breed owner. Some of the things are along the same lines and become a little repetitive but still worth looking through for sure.
Enjoy. I did.
If you have been paying attention then you will know that a couple of weeks back me and my canine crew were driven to Leicester to meet Boris and the meeting went quite well. He was supposed to be coming here last Friday for a visit but his transport was being updated and crated out so we all had to wait til yesterday.
Well, Helen and Paul the breeders , Boris and another of their Danes called Ghost duly arrived and mingled for a couple of hours, all was well so they left Boris with me after signing of paperwork much like adoption papers.
Heres a few pics from yesterday
BORIS ON THE BACK STEP
WHY WONT MR TREVOR PLAY
THESE ARE OF GHOST
So far so good, no issues have arisen between the dogs. Boris hasnt eaten but he is unsettled so I am not worried as yet.
We went to meet Boris.
He is two. He will be three on January 31st. He is not just good looking, he is of a great nature.
The meeting today went quite well, so next week Boris will come to visit us and if that goes well he will stay.
Here are a few pics
He is in need of a home as his previous owners parted company. His responsible breeders have taken him back and consider me a good home for Boris. It is all down to the dogs now.
Oh yeah, a Harlequin Great Dane has been my dream since I was about 8 or 9.
Many thanks to the breeders for considering me a good home for Boris and to a great mate who took me there giving up most of his day.
On Sunday Hearing Dogs had an event here in High Wycombe at Hughenden Manor, a National Trust Property. It was a walk/sponsored walk, demos and fun dog show. Byron and the amazing Mr Trevor were entered in a few classes and did quite well in a good few and Byron won best rescue with his story, charm, looks and goober. Byron was mostly handled by My Eldest who was home for her 19th birthday (as I was helping out for the day of course) and Mr Trevor was being handled by L who is a mate of ME's. Having got a 1st in a novelty class meant he was in the ring at the end of the day and he got RBIS Novelty. He won a soft bed and a couple of 3kg bags of JWB and treats.
Heres the pics of course . . . .
All in all a great day out organised by Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. I was walk leader for the almost 6 mile walk, don't think I will be asked again though as I walk so fast I left most of the walkers behind with another walk leader who had shorter legs than me! The group I was with managed to do the walk in 1 hour 25 mins. I assisted with setting things up in the morning before the walk and with the dog show registrations in the afternoon. The weather was kind to us with just a few light showers.
Lovely blue Great Dane babies, I doubt if I will ever own a Dane pup as I walk too much for a growing large breed youngster but they are quite cuddly and lovely to look at.
