My weekend was full of dog, thats how I like it. On Saturday there was a village fayre locally with a small comapnion dog show. I went along with my Great Dane Byron and my daughter took our little bitsa dog Mr Trevor. Both Mr T and Byron won a few rosettes each. There was an excellent gundog display which I had to watch from quite a distance once he got the ferrets out as Byron was fancying a furry snack.
Sunday was the Hearing Dog dog show at which I was ring steward for the day, good fun but tiring in the heat. I havent slept so well, so long in ages.

Early on Saturday morning I took charge of a new rescue pup from Ireland. He is about 12/14 weeks old and a German ShepherdX. I have named him Abs, Its meaning is father of peace.
